“Have you entered the storehouses of the snow, Or have you seen the storehouses of the hail?…” Job 38:22
…and then it snowed! Most of the UK today is covered in the white beautiful stuff called snow! Adults, kids and animals alike are all giddy with excitement over the downpour of the snow today. Families were outside on sleighs and in gardens and squares building snowmen.
The downpour of snow reminds me of the absolute awesomeness of Gods creative ability. I mean, ice, falling from the sky, so fluffy white and pure. Where in the sky is it coming from?
Like the opening verse in Job I really and truly wonder how big the storehouses of snow is in heaven and how God opens the vent to let it down on UK and other parts of the world; all at the same time! The super omnipotent and omnipresent ability of God in action!
Today, I am thankful for the simple and beautiful things in life, like snow. It reminds me of beauty of God’s creation and more importantly His un-ending and un-equal creative power and wisdom.
I am reminded that God who made the beautiful concept of snow to fall upon the earth, in the right amounts and at the right time, is also my Father who loves me dearly; and will manifest His will for me in the right amount of doses, at the right time and in the right way.
Lord today I am grateful for the beauty of snow and how it reminds me of who you are. May my gratitude be acceptable in your presence today in Jesus name.
Now, over to you dear readers, WHAT SIMPLE THINGS ARE YOU THANKFUL TO GOD FOR TODAY?
