“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland” – Isaiah 43:18-19
Today, we go live with our new website! We are absolutely thrilled about this new platform. One that we pray will be used to disseminate the gospel of Jesus Christ across the world. We are excited about what is to come, the connections to be made, lives to be impacted and souls to be saved for the kingdom of God. We are grateful that he has brought us to this point and looking forward to the journey ahead.
Change is the only true and constant variable in life. In time, our life situations, experiences and challenges, do change. Every day is never the same. I believe the makeup and opportunities each day presents are uniquely different, just like our fingerprints.
However, with boldness we must keep moving forward, taking one step after the other for therein lies the secret to progress; never giving up and holding on to hope in God, for a better tomorrow.
Our new beginning makes me think of how we all desire for change in areas of our lives, and rightly so too. How we expect God to come whooshing in like the great east wind that parted the red sea, separating us from our challenge and making everything just right, in an instant! That being said, over time, I have learnt that God is not a magician and that nothing happens by chance. God has a plan for us, but we must partner with Him; work with Him to bring it to fruition. And so, it has taken us a while to get here, but nevertheless we are grateful for we belief that God is manifesting this in its time.
Change is good and yes, going through the process can be tedious, extremely challenging and can take a long while, but working with God not only helps to keep us focused, but gives us the perfect assurance that change for a better and greater tomorrow, will come.
So, what is the new beginning, that change you are hoping to see? Whatever it is, I encourage you to stay close to God, take those little, yet incremental steps in obedience to His guidance and instructions, whilst trusting in His proven abilities and expansive love for you.
Until next time, stay uplifted, inspired and encouraged in God!
