“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland” Isaiah 43:18-19.
Taking some time to reflect on the year today, I realised that I will soon be experiencing new beginnings in some areas of my life. New beginnings means change, which in itself is not necessarily a comfortable phase to go through.
But new beginnings are good! I believe God uses them to get rid of everything old within that area and infuses it with newness and life! God uses the time is change to embrace us with blessings, introduce us to the next phase of His will, renew our vision and invigorate us with strength and sense of purpose.
Today Lord, I am grateful for the impending new beginnings. Thank you because I know this will trigger progress, movement, newness, an awakening sense of being, renewed hope and focus in you and a desire to stay rooted in your will.
I raise these to you as an offering and pray it is acceptable in your presence in Jesus name. Amen
