“I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the Lord’s house.” And now we are here, standing inside the gates of Jerusalem!” Psalm 122:1-2
Today, we are thankful for the gift, ability and freedom to fellowship with other brethren. We are grateful first and foremost because many people around the world do not have the privilege or freedom to do so.
We are grateful that we are able to come together in one accord to praise, worship, pray, intercede, grow and bring forth the light of Jesus Christ to a dark world, together.
We are grateful because according to Colossians 3:16, we receive mutual encouragement and growth that comes from corporate worship to God.
We are thankful that according to the Psalm 122:1-2, one we are together in one accord and in God, our feet will stand firm in God; that is we support one another, whilst standing on the word of God. This in itself is a beautiful thing.
We are grateful that we are not alone as we live out God’s will and that along the way we have brothers and sisters who hold us up and who we hold up in deeds and in prayers.
So, Lord we say a big thank you for the privilege of fellowship with the brethren. We thank you for using this avenue to grow us, making us available to experience your very best.
We present this to you as an offering and pray it is acceptable in your presence in Jesus name.
