You cannot drive a car forward whilst your eyes are permanently fixed on the back screen; eventually you will crash the car and have an accident.

Letting go of the bad and sometimes good, is one of the hardest things many of us have had to do, at various points in life.

Today, as I mull over the year 2017 and all it entailed; the good, bad and downright ugly, I am thankful that I have the grace and common sense to take my hands, heart, mind and energy off of all that needs to be left behind.

There were so many things; situations, opportunities and people that I really wanted to be a constant feature, but didn’t. However, the worst thing I could do is carry the burden and longing of ‘could have been, should have been’ along with me into 2018.

However, God in His mercy gives me the strength, freedom and courage to let go.

So today Lord, as I look forward with excitement and hope for all you have in store for me and my crew, I am thankful that I am able to let go of all that I need to, as I journey into 2018.

I am thankful that in letting go, I am moving forward and re-enforcing my trust and total dependency on you for a brighter and better tomorrow.
“The truth is, unless you let go, unless you forgive yourself, unless you forgive the situation, unless you realize that the situation is over, you cannot move forward.” Steve Maraboli

I pray my gratitude is accepted in your presence today.

Now, over to you dear readers, WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL TO GOD FOR TODAY?

Leave your ‘Thank You’ notes in the comment section of the website – glorifying God and encouraging others along your way.

Much Love,

remisig
